Helen & Moses first reached out to me for their engagement photos just days after getting engaged. During that session, they shared their plans for a Fort Worth courthouse elopement surrounded by their closest friends and immediate family.
With Moses starting residency soon, they knew planning a large wedding would feel overwhelming, so they chose a more intimate and meaningful route. Shortly after their engagement session, I met up with them again to document their beautiful courthouse wedding in Fort Worth, Texas.
The day began at the Sinclair Hotel in downtown Fort Worth, a boutique hotel located in the heart of Sundance Square. Known for its historic art deco design, the Sinclair is a staple of downtown and the perfect getting-ready location for an elegant Fort Worth elopement.

We started the day with a first look on the rooftop. It was such a special moment where the couple could pause and soak in that “we’re really getting married” feeling. Afterward, we explored the rooftop for portraits, taking advantage of the colorful walls and stunning 360 views of downtown Fort Worth.

We then moved inside to capture photos in the lobby, highlighting the hotel’s vintage elevators and art deco details. Of course, we couldn’t miss taking photos in front of the iconic gold entrance doors, such a classic spot for any Sundance Square wedding or elopement.

Once everyone was ready, we made the short 5-minute walk across Sundance Square to the courthouse. This part of the day was so fun and full of energy. Imagine walking to your ceremony with your loved ones, strangers cheering you on, and feeling like you’re in your own movie moment.

When we arrived, it was time for their Fort Worth courthouse ceremony. It was short, sweet, and incredibly intimate. The private room created such a cozy atmosphere for their guests to be fully present.

The courthouse is truly one of my favorite places for a Fort Worth elopement photographer: the natural light, architecture, and surrounding areas make it such a beautiful location both inside and out.

After the ceremony, we captured family portraits indoors before heading outside for those joyful “just married” moments. Their family celebrated alongside them, making the entire experience feel so full of love and connection.

After our time together, they headed to a nearby restaurant to celebrate, while I went home to start working on their sneak peeks, still smiling from such a special day.
This experience left such an impression on me. Their day was stress-free, intentional, and filled with genuine connection. Everything was within walking distance, making it simple while still providing stunning backdrops throughout the day.

A Fort Worth courthouse elopement like this is perfect for couples who want something elegant, meaningful, and relaxed.

Congratulations again, Helen & Moses 🤍
